A total of ten movies have grabbed the audience attention at the 37th Fajr Film Festival in Iran.
The lineup with no priority comes three days after opening of the fest in Iranian capital city of Tehran.
The audience choice included ‘African Violet’ by Mona Zandi-Haqiqi, ‘Oath’ by Mohsen Tanabandeh, ‘Midday Event: Trace of Blood’ by Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian and ‘Living’ co-directed by Hossein Amiri-Doumari and Pedram Pouramiri.
The lineup also entails new war drama '23 People' by Mehdi Jafari, ‘Night of the Full Moon’ by Narges Abyar and ‘Symphony No. 9’ by Mohammadreza Honarmand.
'Qasr-e Shirin' by Reza Mirkarimi and ‘Takhti, the World Champion’ by Bahram Tavakkoli as well as ‘6.5 Per Meter’ by Saeed Roustaee were liked by the Fajr audience.
The 37th Fajr Film Festival is screening the best and the newest productions of the Iranian cinema from January 30 to February 11, 2019 commemorating the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
